I’ll be totally honest. I’ve been on a health kick for the past month or so and have dropped about a stone.
Foolishly I ordered a tub of these to try (along with a selection of other Chilli Jam man favourites 3 Peaks – Wooooo! 😋, Carolina Reaper ultra jam – Kaboom! 💣 ).
I’m somewhat regretting it.
They are absolutely amazing. I don’t know why I brought them, let alone a tub of them when I’m trying to eat healthy, I suppose I had convinced myself I’d have one a day, instead I’ve nearly ate the tub in 2 days, and that’s only because some degree of will power eventually kicked in.
Initially they are just like any other good quality pork scratching, but then after several seconds the heat begins to build, slowly over 20 seconds or so, it never gets overwhelming, but builds until there’s a warm tingling fire cooking away in your mouth. And then the urge for another couple kicks in.
And this repeats until you realise it’s 11pm and your stood in the kitchen in your boxers eating pork scratchings out of a tub, and your supposed to be eating healthy and getting ready for BBQ season.
